Following successful lobbying, the Northern Ireland Local Government Association welcomes the published consultation on the fees payable to magistrates as detailed in the NI Magistrates Rules. The Association will be submitting a response to this consultation in liaison with member Councils and given the impact on cost recovery, we would also encourage individual Councils to respond to this consultation.
