‘ENERGISING POSITIVE LOCAL GOVERNMENT IN 2012’
The 2012 NILGA Annual Conference and Exhibition was held on Thursday 23rd February 2012, in the Hilton Hotel, Templepatrick.
The theme for the conference was ‘ENERGISING POSITIVE LOCAL GOVERNMENT IN 2012’, which showcased the role and future role of efficient, effective and innovative councils here in Northern Ireland. We, too, will be encouraging local government to be pioneering in setting out the sector’s aspirations and its route of travel, together with what we want and need from our partners. The NILGA annual conference is regarded as a key event that promotes the sharing of knowledge, skills and ideas, as well as providing the opportunity to network with colleagues.
