Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council is very proud of its area which is a positive place to live, work and visit.    It is a very historic area, spanning from Stoneyford to Dromara and Castlereagh.

The Council works to preserve the natural environment for the future and its repertoire of green spaces includes Castlereagh Hills, Moat Park, Moira Demesne, Castle Gardens and Wallace Park. 

The Lisburn Castlereagh area also offers many key attractions including the Irish Linen Centre and Lisburn Museum, the Lagan Valley LeisurePlex, the ISLAND Arts Centre, Dundonald International Ice Bowl, Lagan Valley Regional Park and Hillsborough Castle. 

Through its investment programme, the strategic use of its assets and in conjunction with central government departments, the Council continues to explore opportunities to attract private sector investment into the Council area growing the economy. It also provides support to local businesses through a number of networking and business programmes.
