PPMA - Public Services People Managers Association HR Rising Star NI event

NILGA is delighted to support this year's PPMA - Public Services People Managers Association HR Rising Star NI event.

The event is designed to assess personal qualities through a variety of activities, while also helping participants enhance their confidence and resilience. Eight HR professionals from across NI councils took part in this year's competition.

Northern Ireland Local Government Association President Councillor Alison Bennington said:

"On behalf of NILGA, I was delighted to support and be part of the judging team at the PPMA HR Rising Star NI event in Templepatrick.

"The competition provides a wonderful opportunity for our local government council officers to reconnect, learn, and share best practices in people management.

"Thank you to everyone for taking part, and congratulations to Emma Gunning, Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council winner of the 2024 HR Rising Star Award, and Lauren Gallagher from Fermanagh & Omagh District Council winner of the One to Watch award."
